IMA Data Driven strategies at A&T 2021

Gathering data produced within factories is becoming an integral and fundamental element of modern digital innovation processes. ‘’Owning data’’, opens up to the possibility of understanding how to optimize plants’ performances, managing necessary information (KPIs, trends, OEEs, Set-ups) to take correct strategic decisions.

A productive strategy that does not include the use of this information could in fact influence the progress of the production itself, making it less efficient and less reactive in case of problems related to machines.

However, owning data is not sufficient to make decisions consistent with production objectives. It is necessary to interpret them correctly and promptly, using tools and platforms that support analysis and decision-making capacity of decision makers in production.

The occasion to talk about the importance of data and how to re-use them for the benefit of production will be the A&T 2021 event, exhibition dedicated to innovative technologies and 4.0 skills, which will take place this year in virtual mode from February 10th to 12th.

During the course of the scientific program, Martina Stefanon, IMA Digital Business Development Manager, will intervene at the round table ‘’The importance of data in the packaging’’ (February 12th, 10.30 am – 12.00 pm), to share IMA’s strategy in the use of data and to show how a correct use of information could bring to a continuous improvement of performances.

For the entire duration of the event – at IMA’s virtual workstation, within the collective guided by BiRex – it will also be possible to deepen the IMA Group’s offers regarding productive digitalization processes, new technologies and 4.0 platforms to empower today’s production plants transforming them into the Smart Factories of tomorrow.

The augmented trade fair dedicated to innovation, technologies, reliability and 4.0 skills.
