Rossini Webinar, increasingly integrated and advanced Robots

On March 23rd at 3:00 p.m. ROSSINI is hosting its 2nd open webinar.

The European-funded Rossini Project brings together thirteen Europeans Partners with the common goal of improving Human-Robot-Collaboration (HRC) applications in terms of quality of work, reconfiguration time and safety performance. To achieve this goal, the overall Rossini solution was designed as a set of new and potentially interconnected components called the “Rossini Modular KIT.” Leveraging these components, 3 different industrial scenarios were implemented in terms of human-robot collaboration applications.

During the webinar coordinated by CRIT Modena scheduled on 23 March, after a general presentation of the Rossini project, the results of the implementation of the Rossini solution will be shared in 3 specific use cases: a household appliances assembly line (Whirlpool), an electronic components production line (Schindler) and a food packaging application (IMA).

In particular within its own case, thanks to the technology put in place, the Group will share the successes achieved:

  • the possibility to slow down/stop the robot according to the minimum distance between the robot itself and the operator, guaranteeing the full safety of the latter.
  • the generation of automatic trajectories to avoid obstacles in the area;
  • the distribution of specific tasks divided between operator and robot, thanks to a dedicated APP, for a better task management;

The link to access the online platform and to participate in the webinar will be sent to the registered participants the day before the event.
