IMA: closing of the acquisition of 70% of Mespic S.r.l.

On July 18^th 2023, IMA completed the closing for the purchase of 70% of Mespic S.r.l., a company based in Faenza (Ravenna), and 100% of its Illinois-based subsidiary Mespic North America Corporation, from its sole shareholder Holding FGLG S.r.l..

Mespic, founded in 2008 and with 59 employees led by its co-founder Mr. Fabio Garavini, develops, manufactures and sells tailor-made machines, from conveyors to wrapping machines, from case packers to palletizers, and complete turn-key systems for the end-of-line.

Thanks to its know-how and focus on new product developments and innovation, Mespic provides modular, flexible and efficient solutions that precisely fit customers’ needs by analyzing the packaging and the layout that suits them the most.

Mespic’s products are designed to serve a large variety of applications: dairy, confectionary, ready-meals, pharma, tea & coffee, sauces & creams, pet food, baby food, frozen food, bakery, eggs, beverage, home & personal care and tobacco.

Mespic also offers testing, installation, and qualification services, spare parts and equipment maintenance.
