The PDP24 is the latest in a long line of IMA Corazza solutions for the food industry. Like any cube, there are six sides to the story and the PDP24 boasts as many reasons for making it the number one choice. Equipped with just 24 punches, the PDP24 processes up to 3000 ppm, ensuring consistent quality and cube weight thanks to separate pre- and final compression stations. With a minimal footprint, it also guarantees excellent hygiene standards, keeping the production area segregated from the mechanical housing. Through a more efficient design, maintenance costs and requirements are much lower and punches and dies can be easily replaced. Able to adapt reliably to different powder types, the press allows for fast format changeovers between 4 and 13 grams as well as non-standard sizes.
During the event there will be many machine demos on PDP 24 line: take a look at the agenda >>
Easily managed thanks to an intuitive HMI, the I 10 ensures efficient processing and handles stock cubes at a rate of up to 1000 ppm. The latest-generation HMI also provides performance data, statistical reports and facilitates remote technical assistance. Based on cutting-edge electronics, the I 10 is extremely flexible for format changeovers and operating costs are negligible. The space-efficient design makes for a compact footprint and with a plug-in concept for the main groups, each customer will find the appropriate solution to suit their needs.
Major benefits are had when format changeovers are performed: with PDP24 working in line with I Series machines, a complete size change is possible, allowing customers to easily produce cubes and tablets with the same equipment.
Part of the FTB Series, the FTB569 is an extremely compact solution which processes up to 2000 wrapped stock cubes or tablets at infeed per minute, thanks to special feeds and a special design to control the product during transfer. Displayed in line with the I 10 and PDP24 machines, this high-performance wraparound tray packer with servo-driven movements is especially gentle in handling products, preventing damage, and uses dedicated tools for layering. Material suitable for high salt content is used for the parts coming into contact with the product. Starting from flat blanks, even in cardboard and micro-corrugated materials, the FTB569 deals with all common display and closing styles. The machine is also designed to enable quick size/format changes by replacing just a few parts.
Hassia’s vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) F600 for sachets produces four-sided sealed sachets at a pace of up to 80 cycles per minute (up to 78,600 sachets/h), and on as many as 16 lanes.
Among other differentiators, the F600 offers single-roll functionality, an improvement over two-roll formats. The units run a single wide roll, which is located at floor level for easy changeover and front-and-back sachet registration – an option offering more printing choices than traditional two-roll machines. The F600 can handle rolls as wide as 1.200 mm with a diameter of 800 mm, which can yield up to 16 hours of run time between roll changes; the result is significantly reduced downtime and boosted productivity.
At the show the machine will produce paper based sachets.
The P500 is a high-performance form, fill and seal machine processing portion cups for a lot of dairy and food applications like fresh cheese, butter, spreads, jam, dressings and sauces, etc., also handling a huge variety of cup designs.
Ensuring a nominal output of up to 108.000 portion cups/h, the P500 represents the ultimate FFS solution, also integrating case packaging for maximum efficiency.
At interpack you can have a look on easy breakable mono-material portion packs due to the installed punching tool ZERO Technology from IMA Intecma.
