IMA Digital takes center stage at SPS Italia 2025 with a presentation on the Digital Twin

On May 14, 2025, IMA will take center stage at the Smart Manufacturing Conference during SPS Italia, the leading event for Industry 4.0 enabling technologies.

In the ARENA space (Hall 4 – Fiere di Parma), during the panel from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM titled:
“DIGITAL TWIN: BEYOND THE DIGITAL TWIN, TOWARDS SYSTEM INTELLIGENCE”,
Pier Luigi Vanti, ICT Corporate Director at IMA, will speak to share the Group’s achievements and future outlook in the field of Digital Twin technology, with a focus on the evolution towards intelligent and integrated systems.

The Digital Twin is no longer merely a virtual replica of a plant or machine—it is evolving into a dynamic, predictive system capable of processing real-time data, learning from processes, supporting complex decision-making, and training Artificial Intelligence models. At IMA, this vision translates into the development of advanced digital solutions designed to anticipate issues, optimize maintenance, reduce downtime, and improve overall production quality.

Thanks to close collaboration between the ICT, R&D, and Operations teams, IMA has already launched pilot projects across several production lines that integrate digital twins with artificial intelligence algorithms, advanced simulation, and predictive modeling.

Participation in the conference will be an opportunity to showcase how the Group is shifting from a reactive approach to a proactive one, where the intelligence of digital systems becomes a strategic asset for competitiveness and sustainability across the entire production chain.
