IMA is part of the Bi-Rex project, technology factory for companies

IMA has become part of the BI-REX project (Big Data Innovation & Research Excellence), group that brings together 57 actors from universities, research centers and companies. Goal of this project is the creation of a new pilot/laboratory plant , which will be held at the Golinelli Foundation in Bologna.

The focus of this giant 2400-square-meters space for research is helping small and medium-sized companies in the creation and launch of thirty high-tech projects, ranging from big data to robotics, from automation of systems to product traceability, including biomedical, circular economy and predictive diagnostics.

25 million euro allocated for this project (9 from the MEF – Ministry of Economy and Finance and the rest made available by private partners) which aims to facilitate small and medium-sized companies in the area in the creation of new technologies.

Alongside the IMA Group, many prestigious names including Ducati, Hera, Eni, Siemens, Sacmi, Conad.
