Visit by IMA Chairman and CEO Alberto Vacchi to Ilapak in Lugano

Today, 18.12.2017, IMA S.p.A. Chairman and CEO Alberto Vacchi visited the Ilapak production plant in Lugano. While giving his best wishes to all the workers, Mr. Vacchi confirmed IMA Group’s desire to invest in flexible packaging, with Ilapak a key part of the strategy, especially due to the innovative opportunities it provides to the food industry.

The IMA Chairman congratulated the company on the results it has achieved in 2017 and underlined Ilapak’s commitment to innovation in sustainable packaging made increasingly from “environmentally and health friendly” materials, which require automatic machines capable of making full use of such materials – an aspect to which Ilapak will be increasingly committed.
