IMA opens one of its factories to students to spread sustainable technical culture

On the occasion of the first National Day of Made in Italy, promoted by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy on 15 April of each year, the anniversary of the birth of Leonardo da Vinci, dedicated to promoting Italian creativity and excellence, the Leonardo Committee launched the project Open Factory: an initiative to underline the importance of the Made in Italy concept and the excellence of Italian companies.

IMA, one of the member companies of the Leonardo Committee that have joined the initiative, promotes an event aimed at young people and students to spread knowledge of a sustainable technical culture and to celebrate the National Day of Made in Italy.

The Open Factory “IMA: a sustainable factory” will take place on Monday 27 May from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at the IMA Group facility in via Europa 6 in Ozzano dell’Emilia, Bologna.

The event includes a welcome moment, a presentation on the IMA Group in the Auditorium in which we will illustrate, with an eye to the past and one towards the future, the successes and challenges we face daily through constant dialogue with customers, the territory and the supply chain, promoting an environmentally friendly attitude with a view to achieving sustainable development. This will be followed by a factory tour to introduce participants to the technology of our machines.

The appointment is free and limited.
