IMA North America has been appointed as IMA Phoenix’s Sales & Service subsidiary for Label Application solutions in the American Market.

IMA North America has been present in the US market for 40 years: IMA was one of the first major European manufacturers of packaging equipment to establish their own operations in North America. Located in Leominster (MA), in a 100,000 Sq. Ft. building; it serves both as Sales and Service Provider for major IMA Group brands and as a manufacturer of counting machines and integrator of packaging lines. IMA North America employs over 100 people, and includes more than 10 Regional Sales Managers.

IMA Phoenix designs and manufactures smart, modular, and electric label application solutions. Each year, the headquarters in Bareggio (Milan, Italy) produces over 3,000 units, which are then distributed globally across all five continents through a specialized network of resellers and integrators.

Self-adhesive labels are an omnipresent tool across various industrial sectors, serving diverse purposes. A decorative label can breathe life into product packaging, effectively promoting a brand’s identity. Additionally, labels serve technical functions, as for example securing packages with anti-tamper technology. Moreover, these labels can be overprinted with variable data, facilitating product identification throughout the entire supply chain—from the batch number and production/expiration date on primary packaging up to the shipping labels on boxes and pallets.
