IMA: another step forward in the prevention of Covid-19

IMA, which has always been attentive to the health and safety of its employees, has organised an important initiative in the Group’s Italian plants to prevent the spread of Covid-19. 

The 3,800 Italian employees of the Group and 700 workers in the local supply chain can choose to have a swab on a voluntary basis over three days (from 11 to 13 November), for timely diagnosis of any contact with the virus.

Raffaele Donini, Regional Councillor for Health Policies, today visited the IMA Service Centre in Ozzano dell’Emilia, where a screening was in progress.

The company has invested significant resources to protect its employees and create a reasonably safe workplace during this time of emergency.

This is a one-shot initiative that will give a complete picture of the situation at the Group’s Italian plants and help monitor the risk of contagion.
