In Tè - Bologna Tè Festival

The event, organized by IN TÈ, is mainly sponsored by IMA, boasting 50 years of experience in the tea bagging sector and an impressive 70% market share. With a tradition of excellence and a distinctive flair for innovation, IMA is the world’s leading supplier of automatic machines designed for the packaging of tea and herbs in filter bags.

For afternoon tea lovers and anyone interested in creating culinary delights with tea, preparing wonderful tea-based cocktails, enjoying delicious combinations of tea and chocolate, discovering the secrets of precious kombucha teas from Nepal, or simply ending a yoga session with a cup of their favourite tea, the right place to spend the first weekend in March is the Bologna Tè Festival.

In these three days of events, courses, meetings with tea bloggers and tea lovers, tasting sessions and many other novelties, you can also meet international guests, such as Jane Pettigrew who will be in Bologna to speak about her famous afternoon teas and other latest tea news. The Canadian documentary film maker and explorer, Jeff Fuchs, the first person ever to ride the Antique Tea Horse Road on horseback, will also be present to help you discover precious Pu’Erh teas from Nepal while telling you about the wonders of the traditions, meetings and teas he has enjoyed while on his travels. His photographic exhibition The Faces and Places of Tea will also be on display.
