Giancarla Cecere

IMA Life Microbiology and Sterility Assurance Specialist

Giancarla holds a biology degree from Federico II University of Naples. She is sterility assurance specialist at IMA Life and also follows the validation of VPHP decontamination cycles in isolated aseptic lines. She joined IMA Life in 2014; previously she worked for six years in the quality assurance and validation group at an Italian pharmaceutical company.

Mehfouz Jalal

Associate Scientist at IMA Life North America

Mehfouz completed his B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech and Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. He was working as an Associate Research Engineer in the LyoHub Consortium before accepting his current position at IMA Life. At IMA Life, Mehfouz is focusing on process development of vaccines and biologics using heat and mass transfer modeling.
