To address a fundamental step required prior to aseptic filling operations, we created ORION, the depyrogenation tunnel that guarantees sterile pharmaceutical containers, preventing the formation of pyrogens in drugs.
ORION is a laminar flow tunnel for depyrogenation and sterilisation of glass containers like vials, ampoules and cartridges. The tunnel is suitable for integration in continuous aseptic production lines which require a process by dry heat. It is also suitable for baking the silicone coating of glass containers.
The machine is designed with three laminar flow zones: infeed, heating and cooling. Each zone complies with the ISO 14644-1 and 14644-2 regulation and is separated by means of motorized gates which are opened and automatically closed according to the production flow.
