On March 24th at 9:00 AM, Caterina Funaro, Competence Center Manager at IMA Active, will present the poster titled “Taste Masking Coating of Multi-Particulate Systems in a Small Footprint Equipment.”

This study showcases the capabilities of the Perfima Edge coating technology for multi-particulate systems, particularly in achieving efficient taste masking on small substrates like pellets and minitablets. The Perfima Edge integrates a wedge wire screen drum with side-vented pan coating, providing a compact solution with a 30% smaller footprint, higher spray rates, and reduced processing times compared to traditional fluid bed systems.
