Flow Chemistry and Continuous Processing Conference • Boston (MA), 8-9 April 2019

The event takes place from 08/04/2019 to 09/04/2019

IMA Active and CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals at the Flow Chemistry and Continuous Processing Conference

IMA Active and CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals are pleased to take part in the Flow Chemistry and Continuous Processing Conference, which will be held in Boston (MA), on April 8-9, 2019.

Flow chemistry and continuous processing have undergone a renaissance over the past decade, offering unique control of key process parameters such as temperature and mixing, increased process safety and potentially access to new reaction space. This 2-day conference focuses on case studies from process chemists and engineers working in the field giving insights, examples and opinion. The meeting should be of interest not only to those already experienced in the area but people who want to know more about this cutting edge technology.

Benefits of attending this conference:

  • Benefit by learning from 14 speakers who will present important detailed case studies.
  • Save time. Scientific Update always invites experts in their fields who can impart important information to you right now.
  • Learn how industry strategies are evolving to meet the challenges of today’s market.
  • Hear how your peers are developing solutions to common problems.
  • Bring yourself up to date on current developments and future trends.
  • Meet and network with the key people in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals is a spin-out company from a multi-year collaboration between MIT and Novartis on Continuous Manufacturing, which is specialized in end-to-end Integrated Continuous Manufacturing (ICM), with the application of novel process technologies that enable rapid production of pharmaceuticals at significantly reduced costs and better quality. Dr. Stephen Born, Manager of Scientific Affairs at CONTINUUS Pharmaceuticals, will held the presentation “Development of a Continuous Slurry Reaction and the Application of PAT in the Integrated Continuous Manufacturing of a Small Molecule Pharmaceutical”.
