 Single-dose products are often irregularly shaped and complex to handle. They also require significant processing flexibility. Sometimes packaging is required immediately after filling, other times, a period of quarantine is needed. Optimum flexibility is achieved using top-loading systems. Labelling is performed on one of the most accurate labelling solutions available. Sensitive AP400 BFS handles BFS strips, applying labels at high speeds and with maximum precision, vital when handling this type of container.

To further preserve product safety and hygiene, an additional level of protection, the flowpack, is often required. IMA provides a consolidated range of systems for high-speed hermetic packaging of this type of product. Cartoning is also handled by a broad range of our solutions enabling full carton customisation based on specific requirements.
