HFFS machine Delta 6000 for packaging of wet wipes: different speed for same material?

A simple change of sealing layer composition has brougt to up to more than + 50% of production speed.

The client stated that the 3 samples were the same material. DSC analysis helped to prove a difference between them (different curves, not overlapping). Interpretation of curves gave different compositions, from 16 to 32% of LLDPE in the sealing layer.

A correlation between the composition and the production speed was observed, helping to determine the most suitable composition for the application. The lab can guide the client through packaging choice.
