TMR Roasters are modular drum roasting machines designed to perform a wide range of coffee profiles, with a capacity of 1000 to 3600 kilograms per hour. Ideal for industrial production requiring high engineering and safety standards, TMR Series offers high profitability and a consistent roasting process.
TMR Series integrates the Roasting Air Recirculation and Heat Recovery, using a single burner for both heat generation and afterburning, reducing CO, formaldehyde, VOCs and NOx emissions and saving 35-45% more energy compared to traditional machines.
TMR Roasters ensure consistent roast degree and time, delivering excellent bean quality despite varying factors like environment temperature changes, coffee moisture, or lot differences. It is ideal for frequent recipe changes with guaranteed repeatability, allowing for innovative roasting profiles that enhance flavor and physical characteristics.
Roasting profiles are created with the ORCHESTRA control system, where time and bean temperature are independently controlled, ensuring consistent product quality from the first to the last batch, with precise control over time, in order to reach the exact coffee color and flavor desired.

ORCHESTRA is the integrated management and control system of the TMR Series.
TIME-TEMPERATURE LOGIC
ORCHESTRA allows you to pre-set roasting profiles according to a time-temperature logic, also controlling the time as an independent variable of the process. It is thus possible to maintain full control of the different roasting phases, determining the final characteristics of the coffee from the beginning.
It is the answer to the need to obtain constant roasting results over time, especially for products such as pods and capsules, eliminating external influences like the humidity of green coffee, the quantity of the batch entering the roaster, and environmental variables. ORCHESTRA enables full personalisation of the recipes by previously designing the roasting profiles and by setting the time and bean temperature as independent variables.
During the setting of the various set-points, ORCHESTRA shows a simulation of the roasting profile and the ending time estimated. During the process, the preset profile and the curve in progress will overlap in the visualisation of the roasting trend, thanks to the precise self-tuning of the machine’s process parameters.
These features guarantee exactly the same final color, moisture and taste, day by day, during production.
During the thermodynamic cycle, the burner also functions as an afterburner, cleaning the roasting air at high temperatures before it re-enters the drum. Simultaneously, the exhaust air is expelled already cleaned. This system enables TMR to meet strict local regulations on exhaust gases, reducing NOX, VOC, and CO emissions, even under the most demanding limits.
Furthermore, the ORCHESTRA control system acts as a true partner in energy saving by automatically adjusting all roasting parameters to optimize the entire process, resulting in a significant reduction of the carbon footprint. With this, TMR roasting technology achieves an average energy saving of 35-40% compared to traditional roasters.
TMR 25 Lab roaster has been specially designed to achieve the desired roasting profile in terms of time, colour and flavour thanks to an innovative system that allows to previously designed the roasting curves.
Counting on the same technical features of the industrial TMR Series models, TMR 25 Lab can roast up to 25 kg/cycle, thus minimizing the waste of energy and good quality coffees. The roasting profiles created can be transferred on industrial roasters without any parameters modifications, having the same results in terms of product properties. It is an essential tool, which allows the customers to TMR 25 Lab and improve the quality of their product and its performance, carry out specific test before starting industrial production.
One unit of TMR 25 is also at disposal for test and trial at the IMA Coffee Lab, where is also possible to perform product analysis and cup tasting.

[versions_overview] => Generally, if a company processes many coffee varieties, the blending phase is crucial to guarantee product homogenisation. The beans coming from different silo cells are mixed and then sent to the packaging lines for coffee bean bag preparation or to the grinders to be ground.
Petroncini provides two types of blending machines combined with a batch-weighing system. The traditional solution is the horizontal mixer with rotating drum, equipped with helicoidal paths moving the product back and forth to perfectly mix the beans. A more advanced solution is a batch auto-cleaning blender suitable for companies that sell roasted coffee beans in bags or for specific hygiene requirements. In this case, the suction system combined with special mechanical components inside the mixer means small pieces of coffee can be removed from the blended product.
