OCEAN is IMA TEKNOWEB’s latest converting technology. The machine features a new, patent-pending forming process that produces a very low basis weight core. In combination with the ability to handle the thinnest materials available on the market, OCEAN enables the creation of cost-effective absorbent mats without compromising quality or production speed, setting new industry standards.
Absorbent mats are versatile and can be shaped as bed underpads, baby changing pads, pet pads, and for other typical applications in caregiving faclities.

Thanks to a unique 4-layer configuration, our solution ensures the same, or even greater, absorption capacity compared to traditional 5-layer products.
By optimizing the material design, the mat becomes lighter, more efficient, and more sustainable, while maintaining maximum comfort and reliability.

The new design allows to save an entire layer (the former real topsheet which is now removed), achieving direct material savings of 10–15% compared to traditional 5 layers design. The result is dramatic material efficiency (absorbent pads up to 31% lighter than average) without compromising absorbency or fluid distribution.
Moreover, it adds a new feature: 4 side strips when made of hydrophobic nonwoven automatically build an all-around barrier against leakages.

The equipment offers a comprehensive solution to the highly demanding absorbency packaging market. It is specially designed to pack baby & adult diapers and absorbent mats in tight and neat bags, with the chance to opt for sustainable packaging made of recyclable materials (either paper or 100% recyclable polyethylene). With a high-speed processing capable to receive up to 1200 pads per minute and an output of 75 bags per minute, with D-NAMIC is possible to achieve the widest range of package configurations, including single/double row, overlapped in single/double row, overturned 180°, and tilted undersquare.
