Exploring Innovation: IMA VTP and IMA TMC Unveil Open House Event, 14th-16th May 2024

IMA VTP proudly announces an exclusive Open House event, hosted from the 14th to the 16th of May 2024. This groundbreaking occasion marks the first-ever opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the latest technological innovations through the exploration of a complete tissue packaging line manufactured jointly by IMA VTP and IMA TMC.

Attendees will have the chance to discover first-hand a line composed of a tissue wrapper, a case packer and a palletizer, completed by IMA VTP’s high-speed conveyors.

Starting with the WRAP250 wrapper platform by IMA TMC, the fastest on the market, dedicated to bathroom and kitchen rolls. With a product output of 250 packs/minute, WRAP250 can automatically pack single to multi-roll configurations. As a multi-material wrapper, the equipment can process both polyethylene film and heat-sealable paper, bringing to the market new products packed with sustainable materials in response to a demand for increasingly “green” products.

Alongside the wrapper, comes the sleek and efficient CP2000XL automatic casepacker designed for high speed and flexibility for all types of products, from single BRT/KRT rolls to large triple layer club packs.  The casepacker is equipped with servo lane diverter, high speed servo product launcher and positive top and bottom KD opening system allows for speeds up to 15 Cases per minute.

Additionally, the cost-effective robotic palletizing cell will be on display, showcasing the seamless integration of automation into packaging processes.

A highlight of the Open House will be live production runs featuring the WRAP250 and CP2000XL, handling various packaging tasks. Visitors will have the opportunity to witness production runs of 4 and 12-pack bathroom tissue, as well as paper wrapping of 3-pack household towels, showcasing the versatility and adaptability of IMA VTP and IMA TMC cutting-edge solutions.
