After HOST in Milan (October 13-17), seize the opportunity to come with us and discover the IMA Coffee Lab at the IMA Petroncini production facilities in Ferrara. Come and try out our pilot plant, the scaled-down coffee factory by IMA, where we process coffee from A to Z, exploring each and every way to enhance the quality of coffee and the efficiency of coffee processing and packaging.
FROM BEAN TO CAPSULE: FLEXIBLE ROASTING FOR INFINITE AROMAS
Join us on this unique experiential journey through the roasting process to discover and manage the key drivers of coffee bean transformation, from the coffee varieties to how each roasting profile affects the aroma and taste of the coffee extracted from the capsule. Try out the full line, as we perform roasting sessions and capsule filling demonstrations. Alongside our trainers and high specialised staff, test the green, roasted and ground coffee for key parameters, and carry out quality analysis and in-cup tasting.
Comparative cupping sessions will be conducted to recognise how the roasting profile can decisively influence the final taste of capsule coffee by targeting the same ultimate colour of roasted beans, processing the same origin.

A round table on how manufacturers can develop low-impact technologies to reduce emissions, thus preserving the resources and maximising energy efficiency.
