The new IMA Coffee Hub

The IMA Group has recently established the Coffee Hub, a cluster of specialist brands, each providing a key slice of the experience and expertise needed to serve the coffee industry from A to Z.

IMA has recently signed an agreement to buy 70% of Spreafico Automation S.r.l., headquartered in Calolziocorte, Lecco.
Spreafico is highly specialised in designing machines for the packaging of coffee capsules and soluble products. Together with capsule-filling equipment, Spreafico is renowned for building special machinery to customise standard capsules according to specific requirements and is the undisputed leader in this field thanks to consolidated mechanical expertise and unmatched technical competences.

Also, IMA has recently signed an agreement to buy 61.45% of Tecmar S.A. based in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires.
The vertical form-fill seal expert company has a full array of machines handling dosed filling of flexible, sealed packages in all shapes and sizes. With 25 years of specific experience, Tecmar is another player making up the only team the industry knows able to cover processing and packaging needs from start to finish.
