The C-400 is a flexible cartoning machine running up to 40 cartons per minute and it represents an excellent choice as a turnkey solution combined with IMA low and medium speed capsule fillers.
The cartoner can handle any type of capsule available on the market, in plastic, aluminum, and compostable material. The C-400 can package capsules in a wide range of sizes and carton configurations, with the option of inserting, to ensure capsule stability and integrity, interlayers or inlays, according to the set up required.
The capsule feeding system guarantees an extremely gentle handling, avoids capsules damaging. Capsules are arranged and transferred by means of a pick & place system equipped with gripper-suction cup type units able to create any desired configuration.
Infinite capsule and carton configurations
The C-400 can package every capsule type available on the market in every carton size and configuration. The machine can manage up to 400 capsules/min at infeed and package up to 40 cartons per minute.
The C-400 can be arranged in different configurations in terms of capsule collection and type of carton to be handled in order to meet the market demand. The machine can package in bulk and in all possible ordered configurations: single or multilayer, with or without interlayer, with or without inlay, alternated or nested configurations and tube.
Carton space optimization achieved by smart capsule arrangement solutions contributes to packaging material saving and shelf space reduction.
According to market demand, the machine can be configured with different set-up in terms of closures. Starting from the simplest one with the top flap, with or without the frontal flap. It is feasible also the closure of two additional lateral flaps up to the more complex flip top closure, which can be with or without temper evident system.
