IMA Petroncini to be Technical Sponsor of the 2025-2026 French Roasting Championship

IMA Petroncini is proud to announce that it has been chosen for the next two years as official technical sponsor of the French Roasting Championship organized by SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) France.

For the event, the company will provide three TT5/10 Specialty Roasters — high-performance machines engineered to deliver maximum precision and consistency throughout the roasting process.

Competitors will put their roasting skills to the test using the finest expression of Italian roasting technology, aiming for the title of Best Roaster in France.

With over 100 years of experience in designing and manufacturing roasters and complete processing plants, IMA Petroncini brings to the championship a legacy of innovation, reliability, and deep knowledge of the coffee roasting craft.

IMA Petroncini views its partnership with SCA France as a valuable opportunity to consolidate its technical excellence in roasting technology and contribute to the growth of the international coffee roasting community.

“Participating as a technical sponsor in this event is a concrete opportunity for us to support both today’s and tomorrow’s roasters,” says Nicola Panzani, CEO of IMA Petroncini and Sales Director of IMA Coffee Hub, “Sharing our technical expertise in such a high-level competitive context aligns perfectly with our vision of innovation serving coffee culture.”

The 2025 French Roasting Championship was marked by two full days of live roasting with expertly roasted coffee, during which IMA Petroncini had the pleasure of putting its Specialty coffee roasters in the hands of the best French roasters at the French Roasting Championship, who made the most of their power, precision, and reliability.

In addition to supporting the competition, IMA Petroncini also contributed to a series of conferences, where its experts shared their knowledge and best practices on coffee roasting and processing, exploring key strategies for achieving high-quality results that truly meet consumer expectations.

The exclusive conferences were held by Matteo Barbarossa, Coffee Expert at IMA Coffee Hub and Marica Lucchini Business Development Manager for France in the Roaster’s Lab, offering insights on coffee quality, roasting techniques, and the journey from bean to cup.
