IMA E-COMMERCE AT INTRALOGISTEX AND LOGIMAT 2026

Together with our partner IPG, IMA E-COMMERCE will showcase the E-CO FLEX CLOSING module: it automatically closes open‑faced cases, using ultrasonic sensors to measure internal void and reduce box height when possible. The system can trim the four corners by up to 270 mm, enabling a 20–25% height reduction and creating a more compact, cost‑efficient package. Cases are sealed with sustainable water‑activated tape, while SIOC boxes are detected and automatically bypassed.

IPG will showcase a full range of paper-based protective packaging and carton-sealing solutions. Beginning with its advanced void fill systems, the X-Fill™ and compact X-Pad™ units deliver fast, efficient paper output with ergonomic designs and flexible installation options, while the high-performance X-Fill™ Pro meets the demands of high-volume operations with speeds up to 415 feet per minute and customizable configurations. Complementing these systems, IPG’s trusted Better Pack® water-activated tape dispensers.

IMA E-COMMERCE will present E-CO FLEX FORMING. Designed to elevate productivity, E‑CO FLEX FORMING kick‑starts the packaging flow with a 12‑cassette magazine, the largest available, giving operators maximum versatility when handling a wide range of case formats.

Its intelligent automatic erector identifies the correct box size, shapes it, and forms it with precise bottom closure. In just a few steps, operators receive a perfectly erected, load‑ready case, optimizing every subsequent phase of the process.

For enhanced sustainability, bottom sealing can be carried out using Water‑Activated Tape (WAT), offering strong bonding performance through an environmentally responsible solution.
