IMA E-COMMERCE AT CEMAT AUSTRALIA 2025 TO SHOWCASE AUTOMATED PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIES FOR E-FULFILLMENT, INTRALOGISTICS AND 3PL.

The IMA E-COMMERCE division, an Italian-based innovator in E-Fulfillment, Intralogistics, and 3PL packaging technologies is proud to announce its participation at CEMAT 2025, one of the leading trade fairs for intralogistics, materials handling and supply chain management

At booth M6, the division will present the E-CO Flex packaging system, a versatile family of machines that comprises a variety of technologies, ranging from automated case erectors to height-reduction case closers, and lid applicators.

E-CO Flex System – Highlights

The E-CO Flex System is a modular, automated packaging solution designed for high efficiency and adaptability in E-Fulfillment environments. The family of machines includes:

• NEW! E-CO Flex Lidding: specifically designed to seal incoming FEFCO 200/HSC cases, trays, and crash-lock boxes with the best-fit-to-size lid. Equipped with height-reduction capabilities, the machine optimizes case dimensions basing on the content and applies the right-size lid to multiple box footprints with precision and efficiency. Supports up to 10 different lid sizes.
• E-CO Flex Forming module: a multi-size case erector capable to handle up to 12 different case footprints. The machine processes FEFCO 200/HSC or FEFCO 201/RSC boxes and integrates seamlessly with a customer’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to automatically select the best-fit case for the products being packed. Once the ideal case is identified, the blank is picked from the magazine, erected, and the bottom is sealed using sustainable water-activated tape. The pre-assembled container is then presented to the operator, who inserts the items and secures them with the required dunnage.
• E-CO Flex Closing module: Automatically adjusts the height of filled boxes by analyzing void space, folds flaps, and secures the case. Can operate stand-alone or in combination with the Forming Module for full automation, creating an integrated packing station.
• E-CO Flex SealMatic: High-speed random case sealer (up to 20 boxes/min), seals top and bottom with water-activated tape. Options include hazmat labeling, print-and-apply systems, and vision quality checks.
• E-CO Flex XL: New XL versions of Forming and Closing modules handle larger box sizes and both single- and double-wall corrugated cardboard. Feature high-capacity magazines and continuous replenishment, with speeds up to 10 cases/min.
