Flexibility
FLEX-CO is a cartoner/overwrapper designed to perform quick format change conversion and easy adjustment of carton collation and shape. FLEX-CO is the ideal way to complete the FLEX-Line, but also a stand-alone machine, that can be combined with other suppliers’ machines.
The direct drive technology, which keeps the machine sections independent, enables FLEX-CO to complete the overwrapping process even when upstream machines come to a halt.
The machine is capable of handling a countless variety of carton collations and is equipped with all the features required by the tobacco industry: tear-tape application and registration, printed poly centering, carton and/or poly printing using ink-jet or laser printers, naked wrap and paper parcel options.

| The machines that are composing the packaging line can be equipped with systems that reduce the energy consumption (Power supply, compressed air and vacuum) through sensors that recognize the inactivity of the machine and automatically insert the “standby” mode. | In order to be more environmental friendly, FLEX CO can be easily modified in order to create paper bundle instead of polyprop. The paper can be glued in-line or can be provided with sealing lacquer to be welded during the process. |
