The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) has elected Patrick Carroll, President of IMA Dairy & Food USA, as a new board director.
An industry veteran, Patrick is President of the American dairy and food division of the Italian headquartered packaging machinery manufacturer, IMA S.p.A.. IMA Dairy & Food includes several worldwide production sites with over 1,000 employees, manufacturing an extensive range of packaging equipment for the dairy and food industries. IMA Dairy & Food USA, based in Leominster, MA, handles sales, service and support for the U.S. and Canada.
During their recent board meetings held in Denver, the IDFA along with its constituent organizations, the Milk Industry Foundation, the National Cheese Institute and the International Ice Cream Association, elected new officers and board members. Directors of IDFA include industry leaders from Leprino Foods, Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Coop, Hilmar Cheese, Schoep’s Ice Cream, the Kroger Company, Kraft Heinz, Mars Chocolate, Dean Foods, H-E-B, Schreiber Foods, Chobani, Land O’Lakes and others.
The IDFA, based in Washington, D.C., represents the nation’s dairy manufacturing and marketing industries and their suppliers with a membership of nearly 525 companies within a $125-billion a year industry.
