The Smart Factory of the future at the International Conference Industry 4.0

IMA Group was invited by the Pharmaceutical Industry Review magazine to attend the International Conference Industry 4.0: Advanced Solutions in Pharma Manufacturing, Technologies & Packaging, which took place on October 18 within the framework of the exhibitions PHARMATechExpo and LABComplEX in Kyiv, Ukraine (October 17-19, 2018).

Mr. Riccardo Trevisan from Research and Innovation Dept, IMA Italy held the presentation “From Smart Factory to Pharma 4.0” introducing and illustrating, besides the Smart Factory in IMA’s vision, also the IMA Digital project, where advancement on collaborative robotics and real installations were shown. Mr. Pfeiffer Mathieu, Sales Engineer from IMA Medtech Switzerland SA held instead the presentation about assembly technologies in medical devices with a focus on injectable and inhalation.

The Conference was intended for pharma professionals, top managers, technical directors and R&D of leading pharma manufacturing companies from Ukraine, Belarus and other countries of the region. The program was not only limited to Industry 4.0 but dealt with other important topics for the Pharmaceutical Industry such as Track & Trace, Serialization, Continuous Manufacturing, Drug Delivery System, Containment and Isolation Systems, just to name few.
