Big Data and Artificial Intelligence - IMA intervenes at SMAU | R2B 2019 (Bologna)

IMA attends SMAU|R2B 2019, the event organized on June 6 and 7 in Bologna (Bologna Fairs – Pavilion 33) and focused on innovation and digital technologies.

The appointment was born to gather entrepreneurs, business managers and new players in the innovation ecosystem, through meetings creation, sharing of experiences and updates concerning the latest digitization issues.

In recent years, in fact, the innovations introduced thanks to the concepts of Industry 4.0 into traditional manufacturing have given rise to new synergies and technological interactions.

With the development of new flows tracking systems and the increase in the computing capacity for greater data processing, the entire industrial sector had  the opportunity to shift the focus from machines and systems to the same data.

Production systems thus become, with the help of the artificial intelligence, sources of information which, if shared and interpreted, lead to more efficient, use of resources to obtain ever more competitive results.

The relationship between Data and Artificial Intelligence will be discussed by Dario Rea, IMA Group Research and Innovation Director, during SMAU Bologna scientific program.

The Round Table ‘Artificial Intelligence and Big Data: What do companies do?’ (Friday 7/06 – 10:00 am) will be the opportunity for Rea to share IMA experience in the use of AI and in the reprocessing of data to increase the production flows efficiency.
