The IMA Group wins its bet in the field of assembly machinery with Telerobot

The new “IMA Automation Telerobot” production plant was inaugurated on Monday 27 May 2019 in Alessandria (Italy) in the presence of IMA Group Chairman and CEO Alberto Vacchi, the board of directors and employees.

With its 40 years of experience, Telerobot is a reference company in machinery for the assembly of both traditional and innovative materials with its “Caps and Closures” Division, based in Alessandria. In the last two years, the company has doubled its production area and invested in new technologies that focus on flexibility and shorter delivery times, with a close eye on the European Single-Use Plastics Directive which is set to come into effect in the coming years.

Since the acquisition of Telerobot S.p.A. in 2016, IMA has not only significantly strengthened its presence in the Automation sector as an automatic assembly platform; it has also positioned itself as one of the most innovative global leaders. IMA’s operations in Automation are further confirmed by the recent acquisition of ATOP, which operates in the world of electric vehicles.

Following the inauguration, “IMA Automation Telerobot” held an Open House event at its new facilities on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May 2019 to show customers its new products and solutions to cater for any type of automatic assembly requirements.
