Alberto Vacchi at Green Economy Festival, Trento University

On March 16, 2018 IMA Chairman and CEO Alberto Vacchi attended the Green Economy Festival at the University of Trento, and he was invited to outline IMA’s approach to the green economy.

Vacchi reiterated that the most competitive Italian manufacturers are committed with their biggest end users to reduce environmental impact, waste and the consumption of energy and materials.

He also added that a significant part of the future competitiveness depends on the ability of machine tools to use new types of materials, such as fully recyclable ones.

Among the guests were Mr. Francesco Starace (CEO and General Manager of ENEL) and Mr. Ermete Realacci (Chairman of the Symbola Foundation).
