Interpack 2014: a great success!

From 8th to 14th May the exhibition Interpack in Duesseldorf has taken place and IMA, with its divisions IMA Pharma and IMA Industries was obviously present.

A new way to display technology at Interpack 2014

It has been a successful exhibition for the Group, giving the possibility to show the latest processing and packaging innovations.

As regards to IMA Industries, the non-pharmaceutical  sector of the IMA Group, its companies have been introducing their latest developments and highly market-oriented solutions for the packaging of tea, coffee, dairy and convenience food, chewing-gum and candies, cosmetics and toiletries. 

The machines on show gave the opportunity to have a look “inside the machines” and to explore their technical and technological features. More in details:

  • IMA Tea & Coffee Division showcased the new high speed tea bag packaging machines for non heat-sealable double chamber filter bags with knotted string: the flexible and user-friendly C24-E and the C24-T, the simple and compact solution.
  • IMA Corazza showed the new FF4, high speed dosing & wrapping machine for the packing of processed, cream or fresh cheese, in line with the SF100 cartoning machine
  • IMA Gima presented the FCW300, horizontal flat blanks cartoning machine for the packaging of chewing-gum and candies
  • IMA BFB Division displayed the new high speed case packer WA30, suitable to pack any kind of products into a shipper starting from flat-blank as well as pre-glued cases.

But on IMA Industries’ s booth visitors had the chance to enter a new dimension to experience the technology, an opportunity to discover and better appreciate the details and high precision technology of IMA’s automatic machines. Innovative exciting multimedia channel allowed visitors to get right inside the machines, see the details even in slow motion and witness the technology from within.

The iPad-controlled Videowall is a high-tech, high-resolution screen which brings IMA packaging equipment to life in nothing less than life-size motion.An emotional experience, but also a close-up view of how stunningly impressive IMA solutions are today.
