Outstanding flexibility for cost-effective assembly operations

The key reason behind this platform’s ultimate flexibility is its ability to integrate manual work stations and/or feeding positions, as well as semi and/or fully automatic stations. Tooling can be manually operated, cam-driven, pneumatic and/or servo-controlled, and can operate at speeds identical to those required for high-volume production, thus transferring de-risked validated technology directly to high-speed lines.

This approach allows process stations and tooling to be used for both pilot/low volume and high volume production, saving time and validation whilst being efficient and cost effective. The PILOT MED low volume platform is fully compatible (mechanically, electrically and in terms of software interfaces) with IMA Automation Medtech’s High Volume platforms.
