IMA Group at 59° AFI Symposium 5-7 June, 2019 • Rimini, Italy
We are ready to welcome you to Rimini for 59° AFI Symposium!
Italy is leading the EU pharmaceutical production and all industry is on move. Facing big challenges such as Continuous Manufacturing,
Interconnection and Data Exchange between machines and human beings, the market is experiencing a new renaissance.
With our all-inclusive production range, IMA’s three highly specialized divisions are there for you.
From Solid Dose to Aseptic Processing and Freeze Drying solutions, from Blister Packaging machines to Capsule and Tablet Counters up
to complete End-Of-Line solutions, enjoy the total pharma experience.
During the Emerson and PATWay Solutions Workshop, Marco Minardi, IMA Active HW SW Technical Dept. Manager, will held the presentation “Driving the shift from batch to continuous: IMA’s vision for the machine automation”. This presentation will discuss the equipment vendors challenge to develop an integrated control system to implement predictive activities in Pharma 4.0 solutions and in Continuous Manufacturing Processes. IMA will present its vision for the QbD approach: process modelling and control to assure drug quality during its production.
During the poster session, Massimo Malavolti, IMA Active Product Manager for coating, will present the poster “Seamless contained development and manufacturing reached with PERFIMA, IMA Active’s top-level technology for coating”. This case study investigates the preliminary trials that IMA and Patheon performed at IMA Active Process Laboratory. The objective of the trials was building together the base and the knowledge of one product that Patheon need to process on the production coater PERFIMA 500 located in Patheon’s sine in Bourgoin (France) using high potent cores and a similar coating agent.
Don’t miss the novel paper on “Accelerating the Lyophilisation Process by Continuous Aseptic Spray Freeze Drying” which will be presented on June 6 at 14.00 p.m. (Conference room “Tempio 1-Tech Conference Session”) by Filippo Naso, IMA Life Process Specialist and discover how a revolutionary approach to freeze-drying leads to unlimited benefits with LYNFINITY.
A dedicated 55” touch monitor allows for unique interactive experiences with dynamic 3D technology based on true-to-life machine demonstrations, enabling cross-sectional views of operational groups and their functions. Main contents of the hub: complete isolated lines, freeze drying solutions, automated vial loading & unloading systems and IMA Life’s key technologies for the continuous aseptic spray-freeze-drying process (LYnfinity) and for the processing of RTU components by using advanced robotic-driven manipulations (INJECTA).
