The recent Interpack exhibition, the largest trade fair in our sector, ended in Düsseldorf on 30 April with a resounding success for IMA. The Group presented a number of new products for the processing and packaging of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, tea and coffee.
The high number of quality specialist visitors to the IMA stand, included a very good percentage of foreign visitors, which underlined the achievement of Interpack and the importance of exhibiting at this event.
We recorded over 2,000 visitors with especially high numbers from Europe, Middle East, India, Far East and Central-South America. There were also visitors from emerging countries, who expressed great interest in the new IMA range of machines.
These are positive results, giving a considerable number of new contacts and the opportunity for new business, all of which rewards IMA’s commitment to the high quality of products and technology presented at the event.
Interpack presented the ideal opportunity to introduce the Group’s new organisational structure, which features four leading business areas in the main sectors: IMA Flavour
(Tea & Coffee Packaging Solutions), IMA Active Division
(Solid Dose Solutions), IMA Life
(Aseptic Processing & Filling Solutions) and IMA Safe
One of the main objectives of this new set-up is to be more incisive in these pertinent sectors, while maintaining the focus on market requirements. This renewed image emphasises the values that the Group has built up over almost 50 years in the business: experience and reliability, a world-wide support and service network, excellent ability to meet customers' requirements. These values enable us to act not just as suppliers but also as partners, proposing innovative solutions as well as high quality products.
The newly acquired IMA Edwards
, the undisputed leader in freeze-drying machinery for the pharmaceutical industry, exhibited for the first time as part of the IMA Group and contributed to the success of this Interpack edition.
